    Softball Schedule

2007 marked Danville Baptist’s seventh year in the Seacoast Church Softball Union (SCSU). This year there was a B and a C division, with Danville competing in the C division.

Danville celebrated its 7th year in the league by winning the C Division with an 11-1 record.  This was followed up by winning the C Division Championship, as Danville posted a 4-1 record in the playoffs.

You can recap Danville's regular season and thier playoff victories, by going to Game Updates.

If you are interested in playing softball for Danville, please contact John Edwinson who will be co-coaching the team for the 2008 season.  He can be reached at 642-4547.

The Seacoast Church Softball Union offers an opportunity for churches to compete in the game of softball in a Christian environment. Teams in this league enjoy a great sense of Christian togetherness as they compete to win in a sport they enjoy playing. The bylaws of the SCSU states that the majority of a team’s roster must be compiled of individuals from the church they play for. This helps to insure the Christian flavor of the league. Teams are permitted to recruit from beyond their church to fill out their rosters, as the league recognizes the potential here for outreach and evangelism.
