We are in the process of creating an updated/new church directory. If you are not already in our one from 2005, and would like to be, please sign up on the sheet in the front Vestibule. Or you can call or email Sue Morse. The deadline for this will be July 13th.


Candlepin Bowling

Sat. July 19th –3:30 pm Candlepin Bowling Sign up sheet in the Vestibule. $8.00/person See Dick Clarke for details. Transportation (bus leaving at 3:00) and refreshments provided.


Vacation Bible School

August 11-15th from 9am to 12pm.  We are still looking for helpers in our VBS program this summer. If you can help out in any way, please contact Rebecca Collins at 382-3857.  SUPPLIES NEEDED: The more we can collect, the less we will have to purchase so whether you have 1 or 1 dozen, we plan on 50-60 children per craft. Any questions, call Doreen Snow 382-8620 Supplies: old or new CD discs, shoe boxes (regular size) 1lb. coffee cans, rug yarn, colored electrical tape, small plastic jars, large balloons, ¼” & ½” wooden dowels, 4” flower pots (plastic or ceramic)


DBC Haiti Trip – June 20-30

Please keep us in prayer.  PRAISE GOD for all the monies received for this trip!

Fall Outreach - Looking Ahead

In looking forward to improving our church outreach and evangelism to Danville and other surrounding communities, we would like to pursue an immediate goal of reshaping our September outreach event. We decided to shift from a “revival” theme to a more focused outreach to children and youth, a strategic target that continues from our summer VBS ministry. A leadership group is being pursued for developing this event. Our Board of Christian Education is looking for people to help coordinate the fall program.
